What we collect

When you contact us we collect the information you give us: your name, the telephone number or email address you contact us from, the address of any on-site visit, and a description of the problem. If we carry out work we retain a record of what was diagnosed, what was agreed, what was done, and what was charged.

This site uses no advertising trackers and sets no third-party cookies. A single local browser preference is stored to remember your light or dark theme choice; it contains nothing identifying and never leaves your device.

What we do with it

We use it to diagnose and resolve your issue, to quote and invoice, to support the machine again later if you come back, and to meet our tax and accounting obligations. We do not sell it, rent it, or share it for marketing. We do not add you to a mailing list unless you ask.

Remote sessions

During a remote session a technician can see the screen you are sharing. We do not record sessions by default, we do not browse files unrelated to the fault, and we do not copy data off the machine without asking you first and telling you why. The session ends when the window closes and no persistent access remains.

How long we keep it

Job records are retained for seven years to satisfy tax and warranty obligations. Enquiries that do not result in work are deleted within twelve months. Diagnostic logs are deleted when a job closes.

Your rights

Florida residents have the right under the Florida Digital Bill of Rights to confirm what personal data we process, to correct or delete it, and to obtain a copy. California residents have equivalent rights under the CCPA to know what personal information we hold, to request its deletion, and to not be discriminated against for exercising those rights. We do not sell personal information as the statute defines it. Residents of the EEA and UK have equivalent rights under the GDPR, including access, rectification, erasure, and portability.

To exercise any of these, email help@fix-mypc.com or call 1 (800) 994-7656. We will respond within thirty days and we will not charge for it.

Security

Records are held on access-controlled systems. Payment card details are processed by our payment provider and are never stored by us. If a breach occurs that affects your data we will notify you and the relevant authority within the timeframes the law requires.
